Electric heating is becoming more and more popular in modern times, as it has more advantages than disadvantages.
Electric heating will be presented in diploma thesis, where we will get acquainted with various heating devices, we will show their advantages and imperfection or disadvantages. In practical part I presented the calculations of heat losses on the new building. Based on these, I made calculation of the required energy for heating. Then I made a comparison of heating with electric convector radiator and heat pump for domestic water, underfloor heating with air – water heat pump and underfloor heating with ground – water heat pump. At the end of the comparison, we found out that the best choice for our case is underfloor heating with ground – water heat pump.
