This master's thesis is focused on relationship between law and morality – how the two separated and what connects them. I defend the position that one must, to properly understand law, understand morality and moral principles. That law and morality are intertwined and connected, in at least some points, will be evident from examples used and explained in this thesis. Further, I describe the relationship between law and morality as seen form the point of view of some experts in this field. Mainly from experts defending legal positivism and on the other hand, experts defending the theory of natural law. Legal positivism experts defend the thesis of division between law and morality, while natural law experts recognize the connection between the two.
