The geodetic network at the Brežice Hydroelectric Power Plant has been established with the purpose of controlling the possible movement of an object, which as such represents a strategically important constructed object. Measurements have to be implemented periodically to ensure optimal operation and safety of the object itself and are legally mandatory for the objects with barrier higher than 15 m or for the objects with a barrier height between 5 m and 15 m with a reservoirs volume greater than 3 million m3. The task of the master's thesis is to measure HPP Brežice and compare the results with the previous ones, i.e. to determine the changes in the positions of control points on the barrier. These changes need to be statistically processed by an appropriate method of strain analysis to determine whether these changes represent statistically significant shifts.
