Abstract
V današnjem času postaja video vse pomembnejši del naših življenj. Prav zaradi tega je video tudi eno izmed najmočnejših marketinških orodij. Ena izmed industrij, kjer je slika oziroma video najpomembnejši medij za prenos informacij do potrošnikov, je turizem. Zaradi navdušenja za popotništvo in zanimanja za video produkcijo, je oboje združeno v diplomskem delu. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljenih nekaj vidnejših video ustvarjalcev ter analiza njihovega dela. Narejen je pregled procesa produkcije videa, začenši s pred produkcijo in vse od načrtovanja, scenarija, opreme, ki jo potrebujemo, pa do same produkcije. Na izbranih primerih so predstavljeni ključni elementi uspešnega popotniškega videa, vključno s snemanjem, montažo in zvočnim dizajnom. V eksperimentalnem delu je podrobno opisan proces produkcije lastnega popotniškega videa o idilični afriški otoški državi, Sao Tome. Predstavljen je celotni proces produkcije s posebnim poudarkom na kreativni in dinamični montaži v post produkciji, ter izzivih in težavah, s katerimi smo se soočali tekom celotnega procesa. Na primeru lastnih posnetkov in projekta so predstavljeni različni tipi montaže in učinki, ki jih uporabljamo za dinamične posnetke in predstavitve destinacij. Končni produkt je krajši video v dolžini 3 minut in 50 sekund, ki predstavlja državo Sao Tome ter je namenjen objavi na družbenem omrežju YouTube.

Title:Production of travel video
Abstract:
Nowadays, video is becoming an increasingly important part of our lives. This is why the use of video is becoming more and more common for marketing purposes as well. One of the industries, where the image is the most critical media for transmitting information to consumers, is tourism. Thanks to the enthusiasm for travel and interest in video production, the thesis includes both. The theoretical part presents some known video creators and an analysis of their work. An overview of the video production process is made, starting with the pre-production, including planning, the script and the equipment we need for the production. Some case studies present crucial elements of a successful travel video, including recording, editing, and sound design. The experimental part describes in detail the process of producing our travel video about the idyllic African island country, Sao Tome. The entire production process is presented with a particular emphasis on creative and dynamic editing in post-production, as well as the challenges and problems we faced during the whole process. Through own shots and the project, different types of montage and effects are used to make the video more dynamic. The final product is a short video with a length of 3 minutes and 50 seconds, which represents the country of Sao Tome and is intended for publication on the social network YouTube.
