Abstract
V zaključni nalogi smo z uporabo Langmuirove in emisijske sonde merili osnovne plazemske parametre, kot so gostota plazme, elektronska temperatura in plazemski potencial pri različnih eksperimentalnih pogojih. Langmuirova sonda je ena od električnih sond, ki jih uporabljamo predvsem za diagnostiko nizko temperaturne plazme. V Laboratoriju za fiziko plazme na IJS smo izdelali Langmuirovo sondo ter emisijsko sondo. Pri vseh eksperimentih smo uporabili argonovo plazmo, ki smo jo ustvarili v linearni magnetizirani plazemski napravi. Opazovali smo tokovno napetostne karakteristike Langmuirove sonde pri različnih pogojih. Z napetostnim izvirom smo spreminjali napetost na sondi ter posneli karakateristiko. Opazovali smo odvisnost lebdečega potenciala, potenciala plazme, temperature elektronov in gostote elektronov v odvisnosti od razelektritvenega toka, napetosti ter tlaka. Z emisijsko sondo smo meritve prav tako opravljali v argonovi plazmi. Pri različnih grelnih tokovih smo posneli karakteristike sonde, iz katerih smo določili vrednost lebdečega potenciala in ga primerjali s potencialom plazme, določenega iz karakteristike hladne sonde. Na koncu smo posneli še karakteristike emisijske sonde pri različnih grelnih tokovih v odvisnosti od tlaka, kjer smo prav tako določali potencial lebdenja.

Title:Diagnostic of weakly magnetised discharge plasma in linear magnetised plasma device
Abstract:
With the use of Langmuir probe and emissive probe we determined physical properties of plasma-plasma density, electron temperature and plasma potential at different experimental conditions. The Langmuir probe is one of electrical probes used to diagnose low temperature plasma. In the Plasma physics laboratory at the JSI we have made a Langmuir probe and an emissive probe. Argon plasma was used in every experiment and was created in linear magnetised plasma device. We investigated current-voltage characteristics of Lanmguir probe at different experimental conditions. Current to probe was measured at various applied voltages. We investigated the influence of pressure, discharged current and voltage on floating potential, plasma potential, electron temperature and plasma density. The experiments with the emissive probe were also done in argon plasma. We have measured probe characteristics at different heating currents, from which we determined the floating potential. We compared floating potential with plasma potential determined from cold probe characteristics. In the end we observed the influence of pressure on emissive probe characteristics.
