Abstract
Poleg tega negativne izkušnje v obliki predsodkov, stereotipov, vžaljivih in grdih besed, diskriminacije in nesprejemanja je večina intervijuiranih doživela v šoli, v družbi, v soseski.

Title:Problems of immigrant children in Slovenia
Abstract:
This thesis will try, throught analysis of 9 interviews, to answer some of questions about some of immigrant children in Slovenia. Mostly the questions will focus on the way children were treated in school, at home or in the neighborhood, who do they spend time with, what do they do in their spare time, how are they connected with their family and neighbours, and how they live with them nowdays. The results of the analysis were mostly difficulties of understanding the language, difficulties of communication, difficulties while learning and understanding the lessons and poor grades. Next to that there were bad experiences with prejudice, stereotypes, offensive and other bad words. Many of them were discriminated and were not accepted in the schools by other students, were not accepted in the society, in the neighborhood. On the other hand there were also people who were supported and helped by other people. Bad experiences were mostly when they were in company of other people, at certain institutions, positive experiences mostly at schools or in the neighborhood. Researches are still trying to find out about their connections with their domestic society, what did they adopt from this society and how did they adapt to the current society they live in.
