Lamellas with self–bonding varnish, due to further steps in the process, are typically stamped without the use of lubricants. This reduces the lifetime of stamping tools, so a lubricant is actively sought that will ensure the functionality of self–bonding varnish and extend the life of the stamping tool.
In the thesis, we investigate the effect of three different lubricants on the measurement of peeling force and squeeze-out on samples. Based on the analysis of the varnish squeeze-out and the measurement of the peeling force of standardized samples, we came to the conclusion that the preferable lubricants are fast-volatile lubricants.
