In the thesis we made a comparison between different techniques of playing tarok. We created three different bots. The first bot is a player who makes his decisions randomly. The second bot has a technique of a novice player. The third bot has the technique of an experienced player.
A bot with a more advanced technique had almost twice as many points as a bot with a random one. The bot with the beginner technique, however, had the number of points right somewhere in between. In the share of victories, however, the bots did not differ so much.
We also researched how exchanging with talon contributes to the game, which technique best got rid of the different colors, and how many tarok cards the bots had on average for each game. It turned out that a bot with a more advanced technique, compared to a bot with a beginner technique, had on average a little less tarok and a little more color after the exchange. Nevertheless, at the end of the test, he still had a lot more points.
