The thesis is part of a project to update the surveillance system of the outgoing TV-channels in RTV Slovenija. To combine the TV-channels and outlay them onto the surveillance platform, the ffmpeg tool was used. A boot script was developed for ffmpeg command generation, based on data read from the configuration file. A prototype of the Mozaik application was built, which is the first part of the system update. Based on the prototype, the development of the application will continue, to allow the surveillance centre to monitor the video and audio components of multiple TV-channels. The access to the control panel will be possible in the local network of RTV Slovenija, enabling the supervision of TV-channels from outside the control room.
