The thesis A Slovene-Russian Contrastive Analysis of Number and Countability discusses the inflectional category of number and the definition category of countability as they are defined in the Slovene and Russian linguistics. The thesis describes the ways of expressing number, differences between countable and non-countable nouns, and differences between singularia tantum (only singular) and pluralia tantum (only plural) nouns, which are pointed out in the typology in the empirical section.
