Abstract
Rezultate vizualne interpretacije smo preverili s terensko analizo, kjer smo izmerili same objekte in ocenili njihov obseg ter namen.

Title:Assessment of Selected Isonzo Front Structures Based On Visual Interpretation Of Remotely Sensed Data And Its Derivatives
Abstract:
The Isonzo front, one of the largest conflicts on Slovenian soil, left many visible traces. Durable structures, built during the war, were preserved in many cases, their inquiry was eased by our findings in scientific literature, while different tools used with remotely sensed data gave us accurate locations of remains. Besides writings in different sources, diverse historical maps, sketches, and military aerial photographs also came in useful. Analysis of separate cases was made based on orthophoto and an accurate digital elevation model, which was acquired through Lidar scanned data. The results of visual interpretation were also tested with terrain analysis, the structures were measured and additionally assessed for their size and purpose.

Keywords:Isonzo front, remote sensing, orthophoto, DEM
