In this Bachelor thesis is shown and analysed in detail the comparison of the holistic learning – with the emphasis on the multisensory learning – in primary schools in Slovenia and North Macedonia. In the Bachelor thesis one can also see the ways of teaching German as a foreign language in the primary schools that were taken into consideration. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the importance of holistic teaching as well as some terms in that field. A detailed analysis of some key books in the history of holistic learning is also presented. The practical part defines the role of the teachers in the classroom and their attitude towards the students. With the help of the observation in primary schools in North Macedonia and Slovenia was carried out a conclusion concerning the methods of teaching and the frequency of use of the senses. The results were later analysed and compared, on top of that the predefined theses were either confirmed or debunked.
