In task I studied public responses on major events Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia 1990–1996. The responses of slovenian public are reports about events, comments on events, pools in printed media. I selected four printed media. I reviewed newspapers Delo and Družina and magazines Mladina and Svobodna misel. The aim of the task is to find out relationship of printed media to events. In the task I included events that the Slovenian Roman Catholic Church participated or was associated with them. Events are declarations, ceremonies, denationalization, visits of statesmans to the Pope and his visit to Slovenia. Družina and Delo more reported about events. In Družina and Delo were more responses. They reported from different events, while Mladina and Svobodna misel reported from particular events. Generally, the responses were different.
