Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje razvoj potrošniške družbe v 20. stoletju. Prikaže, kako in zakaj se je razvila potrošnja, podrobneje masovna in osebna potrošnja. Raziskuje nastanek potrošniške družbe v 20. stoletju in opiše družbene nastavke za tak razvoj. Delo se osredotoča tudi na vpliv medijev in na njihovo vlogo pri širjenju potrošniške družbe. Z odgovori na raziskovalna vprašanja osvetli družbene nastavke za tak zgodovinski razvoj potrošnje, predstavi predvsem družbene posledice potrošnje in spremembe, ki so se v 20. stoletju dogodile, in ugotovi, kako so se v tem časovnem obdobju razvijali in spreminjali mediji z oglaševanjem.

Title:The development of consumption in the 20th century and the role of media advertising
Abstract:
The thesis describes the development of consumer society in the 20th century. It shows how and why consumption has developed, in more detail mass and personal consumption. It explores the emergence of a consumer society in the 20th century, a description of the social attitudes to such development. The work also focuses on the influence of the media and their role in expanding consumer society. The thesis also illuminates the social extensions for such a historical development of consumption, but also focuses on the social consequences of consumption and the changes that took place in the 20th century and how the media developed and changed through advertising during this period.
