Igra sence v ambientalnem svetilu

V svojem diplomskem delu se bom ukvarjala z raziskovanjem svetlobe in sence, njunih povezav ter vpliva le-teh na prostor, v katerem se pojavljajo. Najprej bom na kratko proučila pomembnejše mejnike na področju svetlobe in osvetljevanja ter kako, kje in zakaj se je vse to sploh začelo. Dotaknila se bom tudi različnih vrst svetil v času in prav tako virov svetlobe kot takih. Raziskave na področju stekla sem se lotila predvsem praktično, z izvedbo različnih testov in poskusov. Ker ambientalno svetilo v kombinaciji s steklom in drugimi materiali omogoča veliko možnosti za raziskovanje in igranje s sencami, me na tem področju zanimajo predvsem reliefi, jedkanica in peskanje ter njihov vpliv na relacijo svetloba – senca.

• Title: Playing with shadow in ambiental lighting

Abstract

In my diploma thesis I will deal with the exploration of light, shadow, and their connections, which have affected the space that appears. Firstly, I will briefly talk about major milestones in the field of light and illumination. How, where and why, everything has started at all. I will also talk about types of light types over time and the sources of light as such. I have started my researching practically, I took paces of glass and made various tests and experiments on it. Since the ambient light, in combination with glass in other materials, is looking for a lot of possibilities for exploring shadow playing, in this field I am especially interested in solving, blasting into sandblasting and their influence on the light - shadow relationship.
