Abstract
Nekatere vrste so že v celoti izginile. Poleg živali so ogrožene tudi rastline, in sicer predvsem zaradi njihovega nabiranja v hortikulturne namene in zaradi spreminjanja njihovega življenjskega prostora.

Title:Jewelry collection inspired by endangered plant and animal spices in Slovenia
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis was to create a line of jewelry inspired by endangered plant and animal species in Slovenia, using materials and technologies that do not have a negative impact on the environment. The jewelry was meant to show the general population how important it is to preserve biodiversity on Slovenian soil. The thesis presents protected or endangered plant and animal species in Slovenia. The reasons for the decline in their number are stated as well. Migratory birds play an important role - due to the disappearance of suitable habitats, which is mostly due to human actions, they are unfortunately returning in ever smaller numbers. Some species have already completely disappeared. In addition to animals, plants are endangered as well, mainly due to their harvesting for horticultural purposes and due to changes in their habitat. The thesis also presents a laser cutter and a 3D printer, which do not have a negative impact on the environment and produce minimal waste. The design work shows the process of developing a jewelry line design, development of sketches, 3D models, and computer simulation of 3D models in different color shades. In the technological part, various materials are tested, and the process of making a jewelry collection is described as well. It was found how durable paper jewelry is and what 3D technologies are suitable for making jewelry. Photographs of finished products are included; collections of cardboard jewelry and 3D printed jewelry. The results of a survey titled Determining the importance of the message value of a product in Slovenian consumer purchasing decisions are presented below. At the end of the day, it is about encouraging the Slovenian nation towards a sustainable way of life in all areas.
