Abstract
Titan in titanove zlitine spadajo v skupini težko-obdelovalnih materialov. Najbolj uporabljena titanova zlitina je Ti-6Al-4V. Pri strojnem vrezovanju navojev v ta material pa je ključno izbrati ustrezen rezalni material (rezalno orodje). Na praktičnem delu naloge smo analizirali obremenitev na glavnem vretenu obdelovalnega centra pri vrezovanju navojev v izvrtinah z uporabo navojnih svedrov.

Title:Cutting threads into titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V
Abstract:
Titanium and titanium alloys belong to the group of difficult-to-machine materials. The most widely used titanium alloy is Ti-6Al-4V. When cutting threads into this material, it is crucial to choose the appropriate cutting material (cutting tool). In the practical part of the thesis we analyzed the spindle load while tapping.
