Abstract
V zaključni nalogi je opisan postopek preciziskega litja z uporabo sive litine. V prvem delu je opisan skupina materialov sivih litin. Litina, ki je v tehnologiji materialov pogosto uporabljena pri tehnologijah gravitacijskega litja v enkratne forme iz peščenih mešanic; manj pa po postopku precizijskega litja. V delu je opisan vpliv legirnih elementov ter glavne mehanske, tehnološke in mikrostrukturne lastnosti sive litine. Nadalje je opredeljeno ohlajanje in strjevanje sive litine. V delu, ki opisuje precizijsko litje, pa je opisan postopek po sekvencah, ki jih moramo izvesti, da pridobimo ulitke. Po načinu litja so v delu predstavljene različne izvedbe litja, ki lahko poteka gravitacijsko, centrifugalno, nizkotlačno in vakuumsko. Zaključno so predstavljene še livarske napake, ki lahko nastanejo pri postopku precizijskega litja.

Title:Investment casting of cast iron
Abstract:
The final thesis describes the process of investment casting of cast iron. The first part describes a group of cast iron materials. Cast iron, which is often used in materials technology in gravity die-casting technologies from sand mixtures, and less so by the investment casting process. The paper describes the influence of alloying elements and the main mechanical, technological and microstructural properties of cast iron. Further, cooling and solidification of cast iron is defined. The part describing investment casting, however, describes the process by sequences that must be performed to obtain castings. According to the method of casting, the work presents various versions of casting, which can be performed by gravity, centrifugal, low-pressure, and vacuum. Finally, casting defects that can occur during the precision casting process are also presented.
