Abstract
V Laboratoriju za tekočinsko-scintilacijsko spektrometrijo na Odseku za fiziko nizkih in srednjih energij F-2 na Institutu »Jožef Stefan« je možno izvesti elektrolizno obogatitev vzorcev, ki vsebujejo tritij. Tako sem v diplomskem delu obdeloval grobe merske podatke in rutinsko uporabljane izračune ter na podlagi ugotovitev predpostavil nekaj različic izboljšav za računski postopek. Izboljšave sem nato preveril na vzorcih z znano koncentracijo aktivnosti tritija in jih primerjal med seboj ter z uradno različico izračunov. Namen naloge je predlagati najustreznejšo različico izračuna za določanje koncentracije aktivnosti tritija in njegove negotovosti glede natančnosti in točnosti.

Title:Determination of tritium in environmental waters
Abstract:
Laboratory for Liquid Scintillation Spectrometry in the Department of Low and Medium Energy Physics F-2 at »Jožef Stefan« Institute enables the electrolytic enrichment of samples containing tritium. In this diploma work, rough measurement data and routinely used calculation procedures were analysed. Based on the findings, some improvements for the calculating procedure were suggested. The improved calculations were then tested on the samples with known activity concentration of tritium. The results of the different calculations were then compared, also with official version. The purpose of this work is to suggest the most accurate and precise calculation for the determination of activity concentration of tritium and its uncertainty according to precision and accuracy.
