Abstract

Title:
Interaction of turbulent flow with simply supported thin plate
Abstract:
The thesis deals with an aerodynamicly excited simply supported thin plate and the distinction between vibration generated and aerodynamicly generated noise. An experiment was carried out in which we used a slow air jet to excite a cantilever-mounted thin plate and observed the response of its vibrations as a function of frequency. The individual effects on the vibration response of a thin plate are explained.
