The tesis titled The comparison between novels In blood of Fran Govekar and Fortunata and Jacinta of Benito Pérez Galdós treats a development of naturalism in Slovenian and Spanish literature based on the mentioned novels. The purpose of the tesis is to find out whether the novels really show all the characteristics that literary science has considered as important of particular naturalism. At the beginning, the tesis presents very briefly two biographies of authors and then presents Europe naturalism, Slovenian and Spanish naturalism and their particularities. At the end the attention is focused on the comparison of naturalism on the base of mentioned Slovenian and Spanish novel.
