Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je bil izvesti literaturni pregled ionske kromatografije za uporabo separacije N-glikanov. Glikani so pomemben element v farmacevtski industriji in predstavljajo pomemben del pri načrtovanju novih bioloških zdravil in cepiv pri uporabi protiteles. Ionska kromatografija tako predstavlja učinkovito in selektivno separacijo N-glikanov, kjer sama analiza ni zahtevna. Metoda omogoča določevanje zelo majhnih koncentracij ter jo je mogoče sklopiti z drugimi tehnikami

Title:Separation of N-glycans by ion chromatography
Abstract:
The aim of the diploma thesis is literature review of using ion chromatography for separation of N-glycans. Glycans are an important element in the pharmaceutical industry and represent an important part in planning new biomedicine and vaccines using antibodies. As such, ion chromatography represents efficient and selective separation of N-glycans, where such analysis is not difficult. The method allows determination of very small concentrations and it is possible to combine it with other techniques.
