Uporabniška izkušnja upravljanja pametnega doma z inteligentnimi tipkami

Tok napredka tehnologije nas spremlja tudi v odnosu upravljanja stanovanjske hiše in poslovnih stavb. Od čisto klasičnih stikal in osnovnih termostatov, preko namenskih tablic in telefonov, imamo sedaj na voljo nove načine interakcije in vmesnike za upravljanje pametnih domov. Pojavljajo se novi produkti – inteligentne tipke, ki so po funkcionalnosti bližje klasičnim stikalom, a imajo dodatne možnosti, kot je upravljanje termostata, dodatna senzorika in programljivost. V diplomski nalogi smo ovrednotili uporabniško izkušnjo pri upravljanju z inteligentnimi tipkami ter jo primerjali z izkušnjo pri uporabi klasičnih stikal, mobilne aplikacijo ter govora. V prvem delu diplomske naloge je predstavljena priprava na vrednotenje ter samo vrednotenje uporabniške izkušnje. Od določitve raziskovalnih vprašanj, uporabniških scenarijev in načina izvajanja vrednotenja, do pilotske izvedbe poskusa in dejanskega vrednotenja z uporabniki ter uporabljene metodologije . V drugem delu so predstavljeni pridobljeni rezultati po opravljeni analizi podatkov ter ugotovitve, sklepi in predlogi za izboljšavo inteligentnih tipk.

• Title: User experience of the smart home management using intelligent switches

Abstract

Technological progress accompanies us in many different types of interaction, including in the relation in managing a residential house and office buildings. From ordinary switches and thermostats, through dedicated tablets and smart phones, we now have new ways of interacting and new interfaces for smart home management. We are seeing a new product – intelligent buttons. From the functionality point of view, they are closer to regular switches, but they have added features like managing the thermostat, added sensors and programmability. In this thesis, we have evaluated the user experience controling smart home with intelligent buttons and compared it to the user experience of controlling the home with regular switches, mobile app and speech. The first part of the thesis presents the preparation for evaluation and the evaluation process itself. From determining research questions, user scenarios and process execution to pilot evaluation of the experiment and evaluation with real users and used methodology. The second part presents the results obtained after the data analysis, as well as the conclusions, findings and suggestions for improvements of the intelligent buttons.
