This graduation thesis deals with simplified methods of analysis of second%order theory in axially loaded reinforced concrete elements in accordance with SIST EN 1992-1-1 standard. A self-made computer tool for calculation of second % order theory effects is presented too. The tool is created in Microsoft Office Excel. We fill the required cells with basic data (geometry, load); material characteristics of concrete and steel are selected from the drop-down list. The toll calculates effects on basis of two simplified methods from the SIST EN 1992-1-1 standard. Those are method of nominal stiffness and method of nominal curvature. The result that toll returns after calculation is the value of increased bending moment because of second%order theory effects. The tool offers us the calculation of required amount of reinforcement. The graduation thesis also presents two calculation examples, which show the functioning of the tool. At the end of every example, a comparison of results is made.
