Abstract
Razvoj senzorjev in merilnih sistemov je tesno povezan z razvojem proizvodnih izdelovalnih procesov in njihovimi zahtevami. Za vgradnjo v napredne izdelovalne sisteme, ki upoštevajo smernice industrije 4.0, so še posebej primerni pametni senzorji. Ti nudijo samo-kontrolo in samo-kalibracijo komponent, ter lahko v souporabi s programskimi senzorji tvorijo zanesljive merilne sisteme, ki v primeru odpovedi katerega izmed merilnikov, sami poskrbijo bodisi za njegovo prenastavitev ali za začasno nadomestitev z ustreznim programskim senzorjem. Takšni merilni sistemi, v povezavi z uporabo strojnega učenja, omogočajo tudi vpeljavo in delovanje avtonomnih proizvodnih procesov, v katerih ljudje zasedajo zgolj nadzorne funkcije.

Title:Smart sensors for installation in advanced manufacturing systems
Abstract:
Development in sensor technology is strongly connected with the progression of manufacturing processes and their demands. For integration in advanced manufacturing processes that follow Industry 4.0 guidelines, smart sensors are preferred. Smart sensors enable self-control and self-calibration of components and can, in connection with soft sensors, form reliable sensors systems. Such systems can in a case of a hard sensor failure either reset its software or enable an adequate soft sensor to temporarily take its place. In conjunction with the use of machine learning, those reliable sensor systems enable introduction and viability of autonomous manufacturing processes in which people only occupy supervisory positions.
