Abstract
V diplomskem delu ovrednotimo obrabno odpornost materialov pri obdelavi z abrazivnim tokom, ki se najpogosteje uporabljajo pri 3D tiskanju. V teoretičnem delu najprej opišemo različne tehnologije 3D tiska in najbolj pogosto uporabljene polimerne filamente. Nato opišemo še proces obdelave z abrazivnim tokom (AFM) in 3D optični merilnik, ki ga uporabimo za potrebe evaluacije in ovrednotenja rezultatov. Med potekom eksperimentalnega dela smo opravili več poskusov, kjer smo s 3D optičnim merilnikom spremljali obrabno odpornost 3D tiskanih usmerjevalnih vložkov izdelanih iz različnih vrst materialov (ABS, ˇ PLA, PET in ONYX), po obdelavi z abrazivnim tokom. Izvedena je bila tudi stroškovna analiza uporabljenih polimernih filamentov. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da je najbolj obrabno obstojen filament ONYX (NYLON) v primerjavi s filamenti ABS, PLA in PET, vendar je ONYX (NYLON) stroškovno najdražji.

Title:Machine based polishing of tools with the usage of abrasive flow processing and 3D printed inserts
Abstract:
In bachelor thesis we evaluate wear resistance of different materials when processed with abrasive flow machining (AFM) technique, that are predominantly used in 3D printing. In the theoretical part we first describe in detail different 3D printing techniques and used polymer filaments. We continue with the description of the abrasive flow machining (AFM) technique and 3D optical measurement device, that is used for wear resistance results and their evaluation. In our experimental work, we performed multiple tests, where we were observing wear resistance with the 3D measuring device of different materials (ABS, PLA, PET, ONYX) that are used for 3D printing of routing inserts and later processed with AFM technique. We also performed cost analysis of the used polymer filaments and concluded that the most wear resistant element in our experiments - ONYX (NYLON), also presents the most expensive material and that the price-performance trade-off needs to be considered.
