Abstract
Magistrsko delo načrtuje zasnovo obrečnega prostora reke Savinje in pri tem upošteva načrtovane protipoplavne ukrepe, naravovarstvene kriterije, potrebe prebivalcev in smernice občinskih prostorskih aktov. Prostor ob reki Savinji predstavljajo predvsem poplavne ravnice s kmetijskimi površinami in značilna obvodna vegetacija.

Title:Landscape arhitecutre design of the Savinja riverbanks form Letuš to Ločica ob Savinji
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis is to emphasize the design of the riverine of the Savinja River, taking into account the planned flood protection measures, nature conservation criteria, the needs of the inhabitants, and guidelines for municipal spatial planning documents. The area along the Savinja River has predominantly flooded plains with agricultural areas or a typical by-pass vegetative healing. In some parts along the river, some settlements are often flooded. With the implementation of the national spatial safety plan from 2011, the settlements are protected, and at the same time, the interventions on the shore are rehabilitated. The master’s thesis upgrades this national spatial plan from Letuš to Ločica ob Savinji and establishes a sports and recreation programs along the way. Together with the path by the river, sports-recreational programs are added, renovated, or removed. The Savinja river has the status of natural value, as well as Natura 2000 sites and an ecologically important area. With the help of guidelines from the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation and analysis of space and field visits, it identifies areas that are more vulnerable and plan the sports and recreational path along the river by redirecting it to other less vulnerable areas. Master’s thesis plans an approximately 22 km long circular path along the Savinja river, which is divided into a pedestrian and a bicycle path. There are also four solutions for additional sports programs in Letuš, Preserje, Topovlje, and Breg pri Polzeli.
