Diplomsko delo opisuje razvoj in izvedbo kolekcije oblačil in dodatkov, imenovane Sodobni nomadi, ki je nastala v sodelovanju s slovenskim podjetjem Odeja Škofja Loka. V teoretičnem delu je prikazana raziskava oblačil in pripomočkov, ki se uporabljajo pri izvajanju wingsuit letenja in gorništva, za zaščito športnikov in lažje izvajanje ter odnos med športom in modo. Poleg sodelovanj v sodobni modi pa sem pisala tudi o pomembnosti trajnostnega oblikovanja in rešitvah problemov, ki sta bila ključna za razvoj moje kolekcije. V eksperimentalnem delu je prikazan razvoj kolekcije oblačil in dodatkov, ki so v celoti izdelani iz odpadnih kosov odej. Rezultat naloge je sodobna in eksperimentalna uniseks kolekcija, navdihnjena z multifunkcionalnostjo, za katero sem navdih našla v detajlih opreme ekstremnih športnikov in raznih primerih večnamenskih oblačil in dodatkov drugih oblikovalcev.

Abstract

This diploma thesis described the development and realization of a collection of clothes and accessories called Contemporary nomads, which was created in collaboration with the Slovenian company Odeja Škofja Loka. The theoretical part presents a research of clothing and accessories used in the implementation of wingsuit flying and mountaineering, to protect athletes and facilitate the implementation and also the relationship between sports and fashion. In addition to collaborations in contemporary fashion, I also wrote about the importance of sustainable design and solutions to problems that were key in the development of my collection. The experimental part shows the development of a collection of clothes and accessories that are made entirely from waste pieces of quilts. The result of the diploma thesis is a contemporary and experimental unisex collection, inspired by multifunctionality, for which I found inspiration in the details of the equipment of extreme athletes and various examples of multi – purpose clothing and accessories from other designers.
