Abstract
Namen magistrske naloge je bil oblikovati uporabniški vmesnik mobilne aplikacije otroških imen ter testirati uporabniško izkušnjo. Magistrsko delo vključuje raziskavo med starši in bodočimi starši – kako in kdaj so se odločili za ime prihajajočega člana, katerih virov so se poslužili pri iskanju pravega imena, kakšne informacije se jim zdijo koristne pri odločanju in kakšne informacije oziroma prikaz informacij bi si še želeli. Po končani raziskavi smo prišli do zaključkov, da je informacij, ki pomagajo pri izbiri otrokovega imena, dovolj, pri čemer si respondenti želijo, da bi bile te informacije zbrane na enem mestu in pregledno prikazane. Ugotovili smo tudi, da na slovenskem trgu obstajajo spletne strani, ki ponujajo nekatere možnosti iskanja imen, medtem ko mobilnih aplikaciji ni. Po opravljeni raziskavi in dobljenih rezultatih smo oblikovali uporabniški vmesnik, primeren za tematiko, izbrali njegove barve, tipografijo, naredili prototip in ga testirali med uporabniki. Aplikacija za iskanje imena za novorojenca vsebuje koristne informacije, kot so npr. izvor in pomen imena, pogostost imena v zadnjih desetih letih, priljubljenost imena v Sloveniji …, ki pomagajo pri izbiri končnega imena. Posebnost aplikacije je, da se lahko poveže z aplikacijo na partnerjevem mobilnem telefonu, kjer partner prav tako izbira njemu všečna imena. Imena, ki so všeč obema, se nato prikažejo v posebnem razdelku aplikacije, do katerega lahko dostopata oba ter skupaj označita tista, ki so jima še posebej pri srcu. Po testiranju aplikacije med uporabniki so le-ti predlagali nekaj izboljšav, ki smo jih upoštevali in tako izboljšali uporabniško izkušnjo aplikacije. Glede na odziv testirancev in dejstvo, da podobne aplikacije na slovenskem trgu še ni, menimo, da ima ideja o aplikaciji ustrezen tržni potencial v dokaj obsežni ciljni skupini bodočih mamic in očkov.

Title:Visualization of children's name collection
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis was to design and develop the user interface of the web application of children's names and to test the user experience. The master's thesis includes research between parents and future parents - how and when they decided on the name of the incoming member, whose sources they used to find the right name, what information they find useful in decision making and what information they would like. After completing the research, we came to the conclusion that the information that helps in choosing a child's name is enough, the respondents only want this information to be collected in one place and clearly displayed. We also found that there are websites on the Slovenian market that offer some options for searching for names, while there are no mobile applications. After the research and the obtained results, we designed a user interface suitable for the topic, selected the colors of the user interface, typography, made a prototype and tested it among users. The application for finding a name for a newborn contains useful information such as the origin and meaning of the name, the frequency of the name in the last ten years, the popularity of the name in Slovenia…, which help in choosing the final name. The special feature of the application is that it can connect to the application on the partner's mobile phone, where the partner also chooses the names he likes. The names that both of them like are then displayed in a special section of the app that can be accessed by both, and together they highlight the ones that are especially close to their heart. After testing the application among users, they suggested some improvements, which we considered and thus improved the user experience of the application. Given the response of test takers and the fact that there is no similar application on the Slovenian market, we do not believe that the idea of the application has adequate market potential in a fairly large target group of future mothers and fathers.
