This diploma thesis showcases possibilities of developing black and white photographs in the darkroom with a technique in which pictures are taken with a mobile phone instead of an analogue camera. In the development process, the film is replaced by a phone screen. The first part of the thesis talks about the history of photography up until its last revolution. Due to the constant improvements of mobile cameras and their usefulness, mobile photography has become indispensable part of our lives. Second part of the thesis presents the classical procedure of making photographs with films on photographic paper, which is the basis for the further experiments. In this section, we present darkroom and its equipment, analyse working of a photo magnifier, explore which photo papers are the most suitable to use and how traditional copying process takes place. At the end we present Enfojer, a device which follows the same idea of developing photos directly from the mobile phone. In experimental part we firstly present used materials, followed by the methods, which were used to adapt the classical development process: adjustments on the magnifier, the use of additional accessories and photo editing. We can see some mistakes that were made during the process and can be avoided in the future. At the end results of photo development are followed by short descriptions of the photographs, which gave great results after considering and correcting previously recognized mistakes.
