Abstract

Title:Development of a combined hydraulic ceheck and brake valve
Abstract:
Problems with load carrying and fast movements are constant problems in hydraulics. As part of our diploma thesis, we developed and tested a new combined hydraulic check and brake valve, which enabled us to eliminate load pickup and increase the acceleration time at the beginning of lifting loads. We had to rebuild and remanufacture the valve and adapt some parts, so that we simplified the manufacturing process of the valve and could use as many standard parts as possible. Tests have proven that we have developed a good and functional valve with longer acceleration times at the beginning of lifting loads, and with the precision manufacturing we can almost eliminate the load support as there is almost no leakage. With different orifices and small check valves and different springs we can change the characteristics of the valve without changing its main components.
