Abstract
Uspešno usklajevanje poklicnega in družinskega življenja za zaposlene starše v zadnjih desetletjih predstavlja vedno večji izziv, in sicer zaradi preobremenjenosti staršev zaradi službenih obveznosti in sočasnega usklajevanja družinskih dejavnosti. Glavni cilj diplomskega dela je bil v vasi Škrilje pri Igu raziskati, kako se zaposleni iz vaškega okolja spoprijemajo z usklajevanjem poklica in družine poleg dejavnikov, ki sodijo v vaško okolje (npr. kmetijstvo, vrtnarjenje ipd.). Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na dva dela. Prvi del zajema teoretične opredelitve s področja dela, družine in usklajevanja le-tega, drugi del pa predstavlja raziskavo obravnavane tematike. Raziskava je bila izvedena z metodo anketiranja. V njej se je preverjalo, kako prebivalci vaškega okolja usklajujejo poklicno in družinsko življenje ter s kakšnimi težavami se srečujejo pri tem. Rezultati anketnega vprašalnika so pokazali, da sodelujoči anketiranci iz vaškega okolja nimajo večjih težav z usklajevanjem poklica in družine. Težave, s katerimi se sodelujoči vendarle srečujejo, so raznolike narave, saj so družine in njihova življenja različni. Sodelujočim anketiranim velik izziv najpogosteje predstavljajo neenakovredno porazdeljena družinska opravila, čas, namenjen le-tem, ter pomanjkanje časa zase in svojo družino. Ženske so v primerjavi z moškimi bolj obremenjene in za opravila porabijo več časa, saj opravljajo večino obveznosti, moški del pa se temu le priključuje. Diplomsko delo je namenjeno analizi stanja usklajevanja poklica in družine ter ozaveščanju in seznanitvi sodelujočih o tovrstni problematiki. S problematiko usklajevanja poklica in družine se sreča skoraj vsak zaposleni, ki si ustvari družino. Zato je ključno sodelovanje posameznikov, delodajalcev in države, da skupaj rešujejo obstoječo problematiko usklajevanja poklica in družine.

Title:ANALYSIS OF FAMILIES' FROM A RURAL ENVIRONMENT WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Abstract:
For the past decades, successful coordination of professional and family life has turned out to be an increasingly demanding challenge for employed parents due to work overload and simultaneous coordination of work with family activities. The main aim of the paper was to examine how the employees from the rural environment in the Škrilje pri Igu village face challenges related to coordinating professional and family life in addition to factors attributable to the rural environment (such as farming, gardening etc.). The paper is comprised of two parts. The first part defines several elements related to work, family and their coordination, while the second part presents the research conducted on this topic. The research, which was carried out using a surveying method, wanted to determine how inhabitants of the rural environment coordinate professional and family life and what problems they face in doing so. The results from the survey showed that the respondents do not have many problems coordinating work and family. The problems they do face are various as the families and their lives differ from one another. According to the respondents, the most challenging elements are unfairly delegated chores, time spent doing chores and the lack of time for themselves and their family. Compared to men, women feel more burdened as they carry out most of the work and they spend a lot of time doing it, while men only help them. The paper aims at analysing the situation of coordinating work and family as well as making the respondents aware of this problem. Almost every employee who starts a family has to coordinate professional and family life, which is why cooperation of individuals, employers and the government is crucial in solving this problem.
