Abstract
Medtem, ko je povpraševanje po bioloških učinkovinah vse večje, zaradi visokih cen in manj učinkovitih produkcijskih sistemov, kot so mikrobne, insektne, živalske celice in transgene živali, v ospredje vse bolj prihaja molekularno gojenje v rastlinah. Zaradi enostavnega gojenja, večje varnosti rekombinantnih proteinov, sposobnosti modifikacije evkariontskih proteinov, produkcije rastlinskih in živalskih virusnih proteinov, ki se sami sestavijo v virusne nanodelce, in možnosti cenovno ugodne proizvodnje v velikem obsegu ponuja obetaven način proizvodnje bioloških učinkovin za cepiva in reagente.

Title:Plant molecular farming of virus‐like nanoparticles as vaccines and reagents
Abstract:
While the demand for biological agents is increasing, due to high prices and less efficient production systems such as microbial, insect, animal cells and transgenic animals, plant molecular farming is increasing. It offers a promising way to produce biologically active substances for vaccines and reagents due to its ease of cultivation, increased safety of recombinant proteins, the ability to modify eukaryotic proteins, the ability to produce plant and animal viral proteins that assemble themselves into virus nanoparticles, and the possibility of affordable production on a large scale.

Keywords:molecular farming, virus nanoparticles, vaccines, reagents, virus-like particles
