In the case of starters for starting internal combustion engines, excessive engagement forces occur, which leads to premature failure of the gear pair. As part of the master's thesis we made an improved electromagnetic solenoid and with the help of comparative durability tests proved a significant increase in the service life of the gear pair. With the help of the selected software package we created a verified model of electromagnetic solenoid simulation based on measurements. We performed endurance tests on internal combustion engines with prototype-made improved electromagnetic solenoids.
