Abstract
Na tržišču je veliko število različnih lahkih lesnih ploščnih kompozitov, ki se med sabo razlikujejo po lastnostih. Mi smo za primerjavo vzeli kompozite s sredico iz papirnatega satovja in pene iz ekspandiranega polistirena, ki sta zelo široko uporabljeni vrsti sredice. Plošče smo testirali na upogib, tlak in čvrstost površine. Po pridobljenih podatkih in analizi le-teh smo začeli z dimenzioniranjem lastne sredice. Za to sredico smo uporabili MDF letvice in poliuretansko peno. Izdelano ploščo smo preizkusili na upogib in tlak. Ugotovili smo, da je sprememba upogibne trdnosti minimalna, medtem ko je sprememba tlačne trdnosti v primerjavi s kontrolnimi ploščami velika.

Title:Influence of the core on the lightweight wood-based composite
Abstract:
On the market we can find a variety of different lightweight wood-based composites thet differ in main properties. We used paper honneycomb and foam based core for comparison because they are most widely used as core material. We tested these panels for bending and pressure strength. After analysis we proceeded with designing our own type of core. For our type of core MDF strips and polyurethane foam were used. Panel was tested on bending strength while the bending strength stayed the same at honneycomb and foam core panel.
