The development process of virtual reality applications is similar to that of computer applications (using the same tools), but it involves completely different user interactions with the environment. Certain solutions that make sense on already established devices (computer, smartphone) are not necessarily suitable for virtual reality. In this thesis, I explore the use of virtual reality for the needs of industrial education. The result is a virtual reality simulation, in which the aim is to clean an industrial production line according to the prescribed procedure. Virtual reality has only become accessible to a wider audience in recent years, making it a novelty for most people. For this reason, I also wanted to evaluate the user experience of the simulation, as the technology brings with it certain advantages but also disadvantages. Do users feel competent in a virtual reality environment? What affects nausea, dizziness, and other side effects of use? How can they be reduced? I will try to answer these questions with my research. The first chapters present a brief history of virtual reality and modern devices, followed by a description of the tools used and an overview of the simulation. Finally, I briefly present an overview of what user experience is, describe my implementation process and interpret the results of the study.
