The thesis was created due to a personal desire to better understand the behavior and response of people in Sweden based on personal experience. The main focus of the thesis is the topic of trust, which is more specifically broken down in the theoretical part, i.e. the meaning of trust, the types of trust and how people understand and use it, the whole matter was also supported by specific examples. In the empirical, a study was conducted on the impacts of changes in the level of trust among young adults in Sweden and four hypotheses were put forward to help, which were then tested as part of the analysis. Finally, I considered individual hypotheses in terms of different independent variables that could concretely affect the differences between the answers and possibly explain certain deviant answers. Based on the performed hypothesis analyzes and the obtained data, a research question on the type of impacts changing the level of trust among young adults was also answered. The problems I faced were related to conducting research in a foreign country, i.e. achieveing a large enough number of respondents to understand the analysis as credible, reliable and at the same time sufficiently clear.
