Being prepared and highly skilled pilot is, as well as having a highly manoeuvrable aircraft, one of the most decisive factors when it comes to air combat, especially in so called ‘’dogfights’’. Since the Slovenian army airplanes are, when looking globally, far less capable than most of the modern fighter jets, pilots must rely more on their skills and use every available asset. As a last resort in order to fight an enemy aircraft a high-risk manoeuvre can be applied, which, with a good preparation, can be executed with an acceptable risk. In this work the procedure of preparation for a manoeuvre using an infrastructural object will be described along with all information needed for a safe execution. The procedure will then be used to prepare and determine a manoeuvre on an actual infrastructural object and will be tested in a simulator as practical part of the task.
