In the Master’s thesis, Preparation of promotion materials and design of web page for line of handmade ceramics a visual identity was designed, product photography executed and visual design of web page created. The thesis covers the definition of brands and symbols, description of types, art and technical principles of product photography, characterization of concepts user experience and user interface and rules for designing a web page. The study of competitive brands was performed composed of three parts: analysis of basic visual elements, analysis of product photographs and analysis of web pages. The results of the research have shown that the most important role in web pages of competitive brands have photographs in which the perspective plays important role in psychological evaluation of product. All other elements of web pages, like colours and wireframes, are subordinated to product photos. The result of analysis of basic visual elements also showed that the most symbols are typographical. Based on the obtained findings of the analysis and principles described in theoretical part of thesis we designed primary visual elements for our own brand. We took photos of our ceramics by the principles od product photography. A web page was designed where all the materials were integrated into harmonious and memorable communication entity of handmade ceramics brand Krokí.
