The theoretical starting point of the following thesis has been Foucault?s concept of heterotopia. It served me as a framework for the research of multifaceted and multidimensionality of an image that is being established in relation to a place. I searched for places of heterotopias, as spaces of deviation, semipermeable spaces, spaces that reflect the conventional order or discourse but subvert it in favors to establish spaces of possible newness. One of the aspects was also a question about the space of art, more specifically the phenomena of the white cube. Those theoretical bases were concretized on problematics of urban landscape with an emphasis on subjective sensation, on commonness of everyday and its tactics, which create those other spaces or their otherness. In conclusion follows the presentation of my practical work realized through three installations. Those create new connections and networks out of collected impressions and establish heterotopic spaces of everyday which are searching for homeliness in the unknown.
