Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje in analizira postopek razleditve in protileditve na Letališču Jožeta Pučnika v povezavi s trenutno pozicijo razledenjevanja in njeno učinkovitostjo, ki opravlja zelo pomembno vlogo z vidika varnosti, ko pride do zimskih vremenskih pogojev ali podobnih razmer. V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni vsi sodobni in učinkoviti načini razledenitve in nadaljnje zaščite proti zaledenitvi površin letal ter vplivajoči pogoji in dejavniki. Pri tem je posebej poudarjena pomembnost nanosa za to namenjenih razleditvenih oz. protileditvenih tekočin in njihove koncentracije na površino letal, uporaba »Holdover time« (HOT) tabel, ki določajo čas, do katerega morajo letala po opravljenem postopku razledenitve oz. protileditve poleteti, ter splošni problemi, ki se dogajajo v praksi. V zadnjem delu je na primerih najsodobnejših letališč podan predlog za spremembo trenutne pozicije opravljanja postopka razledenitve in protileditve na novi poziciji za razledenitev (angl. De-icing) DE-1 in DE-2, s čimer bi tako na tem področju dosegli predvsem dandanes zelo potrebno in iskano večjo učinkovitost. Obenem diplomsko delo podaja majhne smernice za najverjetnejše povečanje povpraševanja po potovanju v prihodnosti, saj bo slej kot prej trenutna tehnologija zastarela in bo treba narediti več za sodobni letalski promet v smislu varnosti, manjšega obremenjevanja okolja ter zmanjšanja stroškov in zamud vseh vpletenih.

Title:Analysis of the De-icing and Anti-icing process effectiveness at the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport
Abstract:
The diploma thesis describes and analyzes De-icing/Anti-icing process at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport in relation to the current DE position and its efficiency, which plays a very important role from the point of view of safety when winter weather conditions occur or anything close to that. The thesis presents all modern and efficient methods of de-icing and further protection against icing of aircraft surfaces, as well as influencing conditions and factors. There is emphasis put on the importance of applying de-icing/anti-icing fluids and their concentration to the surface of the aircraft, the use of dedicated »HOT« tables, and the general problems that occur in practice. The last part of the thesis on the examples of »state of the art« airports, presents a proposal to change the current position of de-icing and anti-icing operations to the new positions DE- 1 and DE-2, which would, in this area today, achieve a much needed and »sought after« greater efficiency. At the same time the thesis provides small guidelines for the most likely increase in demand for travel in the future. As the current technology becomes obsolete, more will need to be done for modern aviation in terms of safety, less environmental burden, reduction of costs and delays for all involved.
