Abstract

Title:Smart mirror module to support hair salon
Abstract:
The smart mirror consists of a double-sided mirror, a display and a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Using the MagicMirror2 open source platform, you get a modular structure that is important for developing independent modules. The platform runs on the Node.js server and is intended for programming modules in a Javascript programming language. On the mentioned platform additional module has been built to help clients in the hairdressing salon, which, by showing virtual hairstyles, helps them choose the desired hairstyle. We compare the module with existing modules on the MagicMirror2 platform and find that it is user-friendly, suitable for use and the libraries that have been used for achieving goals are accordingly represented. Finally, we summarize the main strenghts and weaknesses of the implemented module and find that it has the potential to succeed in the market, is properly implemented and would help customers at the hairdresser in choosing the desired hairstyle. We outline the main possibilities for further development and describe them.
