Abstract
I. typographus in P. chalcographus sta v času raziskave razvila dve generaciji, večjo spomladansko in nekoliko manjšo poletno generacijo.

Title:Entomofauna and acarinofauna on woody plants on the historical-natural science educational trail to the castle-Kozlov rob
Abstract:
In this diploma we have used periodic symptom monitoring on woody plants in 2013 to determine the presence of insects (Insecta) and mites (Acarina) on bush and tree species on the Historical-Natural Science Educational Trail to Grad to the castle in Tolmin. With the use of the pheromonal trap Theysohn% we were monitoring the catch of the Ips typographus and Pityogenes chalcographus bark beetles regarding temperature and precipitation. We were also determining the extra catch. By monitoring the symptoms and determinations we found 26 species of insects and 4 species of mites, belonging to 7 orders and 10 families. Among the insects the Phyllonorycterrobiniella species was the most common one and Aceria pseudoplatani was the most frequent among mites. We also found 5 invasive foreign species: besides P. robiniella we also found Phyllonorycter issikii, Parectopa robiniella, Obolodiplosis robiniae and Unaspis euonymi.. We described these species in more detail concerning their development, spreading and damage they cause to their host plants. I. typographus and P. chalcographus have, in the time of the research, developed two generations, a larger spring one and a slightly smaller summer generation. The catch in the trap was relatively small. In springtime the number of caught specimens was increasing and during the summer it was decreasing, despite the rise in temperature. Precipitation was affecting the catch in a negative way. The extra catch consisted of species belonging to 3 classes (insects, arachnids and crabs) or 11 orders. In more detail we determined the extra catch of beetles (Coleoptera), which were represented by 9 species from 8 families. With the most specimens caught (31) the Nemozoma elongatum (Trogossitidae) species, which is also a predator of the six-toothed spruce bark beetle (P. chalcographus), was the most frequent. All together, on the basis of determination of symptoms in plant material and determination of additional catches in traps, we found 35 species of insects and mites 4 types. We propose the completing of the information on the Historical-Natural Science Educational Trail to Grad with the materials on biodiversity of entomo- and acarinofauna.
