Stanje dreves v drevoredu med Planino pri Rakeku in Martinjakom : diplomsko delo - univerzitetni študij

Drevesa v izbranih delih drevoreda Planina%Martinjak, poškodovana v žledu leta 2014, so pod precejšnjim vplivom prometa. Cilj naloge je bil popisati poškodovanost dreves in podati negovalne ukrepe. Analizirani so bili trije deli drevoreda. S prilagojeno metodo vizualne ocene in oceno mehanske poškodovanosti dreves je bilo opisanih skupaj 138 dreves lipovca (Tilia cordata Mill.) in lipe (Tilia platyphillos Scop.). Od vseh dreves je mladih 5 %. Večinoma imajo vsa drevesa poškodbe debla predvsem zaradi žleda leta 2014. 57 % dreves ima zasute korenine, predvsem zaradi zimskega posipavanja s peskom. Pri 46 % dreves so prisotni epikormski poganjki, ki so posledica odziva dreves na poškodbe v krošnji in deblu zaradi žleda leta 2014. Na deblih se pojavljajo različne preraščene poškodbe, zadebelitve, bule, dupline, žlebatost in štrclji. Pri 23 % krošenj se prisotne veje v obliki levjega repa. Veliko trohnečih rezov in obglavljenih vej je posledica arborističnih ukrepov zaradi žleda. Pri 34 % dreves je na nastavku za krošnjo prisotna vrasla skorja, 24 % dreves pa je nagnjenih. Med priporočenimi arborističnimi ukrepi prevladujejo vpetja varoval (26 %) in odstranitev dreves (20 %). Ostali ukrepi zajemajo razbremenitev vej in ureditev rastnega prostora (26 %).

Abstract

Trees in selected parts of the Planina%Martinjak tree-lined lane that were damaged in the glaze ice in 2014 are significantly influenced by traffic. The aim of this diploma work is to establish damage on the trees and recommend tree care measures. Three parts of the avenue were analysed using an adapted visual assessment method and evaluation of mechanical damage. 138 trees of Tilia cordata Mill. and Tilia platyphillos Scop. were analysed. There are 5% of young trees. Most of the trees have damages on the trunk mainly due to the glaze ice in 2014. 57% of the trees have roots buried, mainly because of the treatment of the roads with winter grit. 46% of the trees have epicormic shoots present which are the result of the damage in the crown and trunk due to glaze ice in 2014. Different overgrown injuries, thickening, lumps, cavities and stubs appear on the trunks. In 23%, the canopies have lions-tailed branches present. Many of rotting cuttings and beheaded branches are the consequence of arboristic measures due to glaze ice. In 34%, raised bark appears on crown beginning and 24% of the trees are tilted. In majority of cases recommended arboristic measures are clamping guards (26%) and removal of the tree (20%). Other measures comprise the relief of branches and arrangement of growth area (26%).
