Slovenian forests had been frequently affected by natural disturbances. In the study we analyzed forest management and changes in forest stands, caused mainly by natural disturbances, on the hill Boršt in the Bled region. The study area comprised 129,98 ha of forests, which were damaged by snow in 2007 and 2008, wind in 2010 and 2011 and ice storm in 2014. We analyzed the data on forest stands and forest management in the period 2005-2014. Digital forest stand maps from 2004 and 2014 were compared to find changes in developmental stages of forest stands. We also evaluated other parameters, such as growing stock, tree species composition and regeneration, all related to changes in forest stands, and harvested timber volume, artificial regeneration, and lenght of skidding trails, related to forest management. The results showed that in the studied period the growing stock decreased for 100 m3/ha, proportion of regeneration stage increased by 17% and 12,8 kilometres of skidding trails were build. In the studied period, allowable cut was exceeded five-fold.
