The Diploma Thesis deals with the analysis of elementary school teachers' satisfaction with the eAsistent information system. In the theoretical part, first the basic concepts and theoretical bases, connected to the public education system and educational institutes are explained. It is followed by the definition of the legal regulation of primary education. After that documentary material in primary school, is introduced and at the end of the theoretical part the Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education and its use in primary schools is explained.
ICT presents a great added value for the process of education, that is for both the organization and management of school and teaching work, as well as for the professional development of teachers. The use of ICT in teaching process provides better quality educational work and better teaching effect. The theoretical part focuses on the administrative part of primary schools` business, more specifically on the field of use of the eAsistent information system, which helps the teachers by in putting downgrades, keeping the school diary, praises and reproaches. At the same time, the eAsistent provides support in the administrative work of school leadership and teachers and helps in communication between teachers and parents.
The empirical part of the Diploma Thesis is focused on the realization and analysis of the survey on the sample of primary school teachers of the selected schools from the upper Gorenjska district. The statistical results of the survey are introduced in more detail. Based on the results of the statistical analysis of the data, it has been found out that the ability to use PC and the Internet does not affect the frequency of using eAsistent. However, the participation in ICT education affects the frequency of eAsistant use. The more frequent use of eAsistent has been confirmed by teachers teaching at the subject level. It has also been found out that the teachers older than 35 years are more likely to use it than younger colleagues. In general, there is a positive attitude of teachers towards the actual use, usefulness and overall satisfaction.
