Abstract

Title:Speedometer and accelerometer for a skateboard
Abstract:
The area of speedometers for skateboards has little quality products. Other solutions, like applications on mobile devices, simply aren't accurate enough, because of the different driving style with a skateboard than when you walk or drive in a car. We would like to develop a speedometer, which will work using a Hall magnetic sensor. Speedometer will also include accurate readings of roll, pitch and directional angle. That way we can show graphs and maps on the computer based on the recorded data.
