Social work has developed its own, solution-oriented approach to work through working relationships also when working in teams. In the dissertation I identify the current situation, eliminate perceived terminological and other shortcomings in the area of teamwork, and formulate proposals for further development and work in this area. I have conducted a mixed-methods study (mostly related to centres for social work), in which I conducted individual and group interviews, online surveys and the collection of various secondary data. Based on its findings I have made a description of the current state, which shows that some centres have already implemented the so called teamwork practice according to modern concepts of social work. This type of work model (which requires time, an appropriate organizational climate and leadership, and also knowledge and professional confidence), which I have called team social work, is one of the key contributions of the dissertation to social work science.
