Abstract
V diplomski nalogi predstavljamo razširitev spletnega ogrodja za vajo glasbene teorije Trubadur z novo igro ritmičnega nareka. Pregledali smo področje aplikacij za vajo glasbene teorije in določili zahteve.

Title:An interactive tool for rhythmic memory training
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis we present the extension to the existing web platform for teaching and learing music theory named Trubadur with a new game for practising rhythm dictation. We examined the field of mobile applications for music theory training and set the requirements. The final solution enables the students to practise rhythmic dictation using a simple interface everywhere and without the presence of a music theory professor. It complies with Slovenian Music High School Syllabus. The interface is optimized for usage on mobile devices and is suitable for usage during ear-training classes. The game encourages and motivates students using the elements of gamification. It has been tested on a sample of students which was divided into test and control group. The results show the application being compliant with the goals and shows positive usage effects on results of rhythmic dictation exams.
