Abstract

Title:Characterization of the dynamic properties of stator assembly for in-wheel drive
Abstract:
With the electrification of propulsion systems in the automotive industry, there is a need for rapid and efficient development of such products. In terms of structural integrity, it is essential to perform numerical dynamic analyses to ensure reliability throughout the life of the product and to identify potential damage due to fatigue. A dynamic analysis of the stator assembly for in-wheel drive is carried out in this thesis. A numerical model of the aforementioned assembly is presented and validated. The vibration test load is determined by the ISO 16750-3 standard. On the basis of calculated stresses, the lifetime of the assembly is estimated.
